You can manage reverse DNS yourself in Phoenix under Services > Reverse DNS.
To add a record, click New Record, then fill in:
- IP Address – one of your IPs (IPv4 or IPv6)
- Hostname – what the IP should resolve to (the trailing dot is added for you)
- Record Type – PTR for standard reverse DNS, or CNAME / NS to delegate reverse DNS to your own name servers
We handle the in-addr.arpa / ip6.arpa conversion automatically. You can edit or delete your records from the same page at any time.
